Developer Experience Engineer

Location: San Francisco - Flexible hybrid working model

Compensation: $150,000-$180,000 + equity + benefits

Overview & Summary

  • Develop and execute developer experience strategy to support both new and existing users.
  • Engage with developers by working in community channels to provide support.
  • Provide data-driven analysis, research, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Work closely with engineering teams and be hands-on in improving the developer-facing parts of their product.

Job Requirements.

  • 3+ years of experience in a developer experience role, ideally for a dev tools company.
  • A strong understanding of developer success and best forms of communication.
  • In depth knowledge of API development.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in an ever-changing startup environment.

Senior Developer Relations Engineer / Senior Developer Advocate

Location: - Remote (UTC+2 to UTC-4)

Company: Non profit blockchain development platform and developer tools.

Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 + equity + benefits

We’re looking for a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to engage/build a community and promote open-source Ethereum developer tools

This is very much a technical/engineering devrel role, you'll lead the community and outreach efforts, working closely with the engineering team and reporting directly to leadership.

The company is a non-profit organisation focused on advancing the Ethereum ecosystem through open-source developer infrastructure. Thier projects, used by thousands of developers, support a range of critical developer tools.

The Role

  • Grow and engage the community
  • Represent at conferences and events worldwide
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and code samples
  • Provide technical support and guidance to developers
  • Assist plugin developers and collaborate at hackathons
  • Engage with the Ethereum open-source community and identify contributors for grant funding

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
  • Excellent technical writing ability
  • Passion for developer experience and tools
  • Familiarity with Ethereum and Hardhat is a plus
