Overview & Summary
- Develop and execute developer experience strategy to support both new and existing users.
- Engage with developers by working in community channels to provide support.
- Provide data-driven analysis, research, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Work closely with engineering teams and be hands-on in improving the developer-facing parts of their product.
Job Requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in a developer experience role, ideally for a dev tools company.
- A strong understanding of developer success and best forms of communication.
- In depth knowledge of API development.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role
Their marketing team plays a crucial role in establishing their brand as a trusted and admired resource among AI developers, machine learning practitioners, and business leaders. They are seeking a Developer Advocate who is passionate about fostering a vibrant developer community through education, engaging content, and impactful field marketing initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team with deep experience in innovative go-to-market strategies, spanning startups and global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling technical content to educate AI developers, including Colab notebooks, blogs, eBooks, product documentation, workshops, and demos.
- Act as the “voice of the developer” by engaging with users and the broader AI community.
- Support product marketing efforts by translating market insights and developer feedback into actionable strategies and roadmap inputs.
- Provide guidance on optimizing production ML models and applications powered by large language models (LLMs), sharing best practices and fresh perspectives.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and meetups as a speaker and advocate.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in roles such as Developer Advocate, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical Product Manager/Marketer.
- Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, and data science concepts.
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies for LLM application development, such as orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python-based evaluation libraries.
- Active involvement in technical communities like GitHub, Medium, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
- A creative thinker with a strong data-driven approach, adept at delivering innovative initiatives to engage AI/ML professionals.
- A proactive learner with a curiosity to dive deep into technical topics and articulate unique viewpoints.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to attend evening events and meetups in the San Francisco Bay Area.
