Overview & Summary
- Develop and execute developer experience strategy to support both new and existing users.
- Engage with developers by working in community channels to provide support.
- Provide data-driven analysis, research, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Work closely with engineering teams and be hands-on in improving the developer-facing parts of their product.
Job Requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in a developer experience role, ideally for a dev tools company.
- A strong understanding of developer success and best forms of communication.
- In depth knowledge of API development.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in an ever-changing startup environment.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

DevRel Talent is exclusively partnered with a successful start-up operating in the AI/API space who are looking to make a crucial hire as they have experienced huge success and want to focus on their overall developer and product marketing strategy.
You will be working in a small but high-impact GTM team where individual ownership is highly valued. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on a rapidly growing platform.
With several new product launches planned in the coming months, they are looking for someone to lead the end-to-end product marketing of these projects.
Role overview:
- Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches from strategy to messaging, including channel strategy and performance measurement, collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams.
- Market research: Conduct market research to refine product positioning and develop compelling messaging for various marketing channels.
- Content Strategy: Help establish the brand as a go-to resource for API development. Create and curate content with the help of contractors and future content marketing hires.
- Marketing Strategy: Gain a deep understanding of our audience and products to shape the company’s overall positioning and messaging.
Required Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in product marketing (ideally within technical/developer tools start-ups)
- Familiarity with enterprise developer tools, especially within a hybrid sales environment that integrates both product-led growth (PLG) and enterprise sales.
- Experience creating both short- and long-form content for a technical audience, with examples of past work.
- Proficiency in product positioning, messaging, launch management, and partner marketing.
- Understanding of channel, content, and growth marketing in addition to product marketing.
- Knowledge or a strong interest in API technology and development.
